Rose Society Volunteer Recognition
The role of volunteers in charitable causes is a prime importance. The hours and efforts donated by the unselfish community helped these organizations rise above budgetary constraints.
Rose Pugliese Reschini will be remembered as a tireless worker who epitomizes the spirit of giving. Rose was involved n community activities throughout Indiana county. She was best known for helping to initiate the Christmas Angel, Meals on Wheels, and the American Cancer Auction. She has been a tireless worker who epitomizes the spirit of giving.
In honor of her efforts, The Rose Society was established by the United Way of Indiana County in October 1998. As a means of identifying and honoring other acts of volunteering in our community, The Rose Society has established a "Volunteer Award" program to recognize those people with the same spirit of unselfish service to others.
To nominate such a volunteer from a non-profit organization, simply submit the nomination form to the United Way of Indiana County.
